I saw the discount and thought, great, finally. Added everything, went to checkout... and then the price changed. No real warning. Just some tiny text somewhere that apparently explained it. I contacted support, and they basically said the promo had ended. That was it. Frustrating, honestly.
"Showed up on time, surprisingly no fuss"
I’ve ordered from empik.com a few times now, it usually goes fine, which apparently is worth mentioning these days. The stuff is packed decently, and they do send status emails, so you’re not left completely guessing where your order has disappeared to.
My last order arrived on the exact day they said it would, which is basically all I’m asking for. Nothing was missing, the books weren’t damaged, and nobody had to chase anyone, so that was nice for a change.
I’m taking one star off because the tracking can be a bit slow to update, and it’s always fun wondering if your package is actually moving or just emotionally preparing to move. Still, overall, empik.com has been reliable for me

"Support was polite, but way too slow"
I ordered from empik.com and ended up having to contact customer service because my delivery status just wasn’t updating. I wasn’t panicking or anything, but after checking a few times and seeing no change, I figured I needed to ask what was going on.
They did get back to me, and the message was polite, but it took about 2 days, which felt slow for something that should’ve been simple. The first reply was also a bit vague, so I had to follow up again before I got a clearer answer.
My issue was eventually sorted, so I can’t say it was a terrible experience. Still, if this happens again, I’d think twice before ordering from them and might just shop somewhere else with faster support.
"The loyalty program doesn’t feel worth it"
I’ve been using the loyalty program for a bit, the points don’t seem to add up to much. I kept thinking maybe I’d eventually unlock some decent deal or perk, but no, not really. It’s kind of disappointing because I expected better offers, especially if they want people to keep coming back. Maybe I’m missing something, but right now it just doesn’t feel worth bothering with

"Ordering was easy and stock info was mostly accurate"
I ordered a few books from empik.com and the whole process was really easy from start to finish. The stock info was mostly accurate too — one item showed as available and actually shipped the next day, which was a nice surprise. The only downside was that a game looked like it was in stock at first but ended up getting delayed later. It was a bit annoying, but not a huge deal. Overall, it was a smooth experience and I’d probably order from them again.

"Return was easy"
I had to return one item, it went smoothly. The return label was easy to find, which I appreciated. The refund did take a few days longer than I was hoping, but it wasn’t a big deal in the end.

I’ve ordered from the Empik marketplace a few times now, and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag. One seller shipped quickly and everything was totally fine, but another took ages and barely replied to messages, which was ridiculous. Empik itself seems okay, but the sellers aren’t all equally reliable. Next time I’d definitely check the seller reviews before buying.

I’m still waiting for my refund. It just never showed up. I contacted support a couple times, but honestly... no real help. Just back and forth, vague replies, nothing fixed. Frustrating.

"Their discounts feel like a scam"
I’m annoyed. They keep acting like the prices are discounted, but it doesn’t feel real at all. It seems like they just mark things up so they can pretend they’re giving you a deal. Feels misleading, and I blame them for wasting customers’ time with fake-looking discounts

My issue did get sorted in the end, so I’m glad about that. But it took longer than I expected, and for most of the process I kind of felt like I was just a ticket number in a queue rather than an actual customer waiting for help.

"I’m not sure if it’s just me, but the app was frustrating"
I tried using the empik app i’m not sure if I was doing something wrong or if the app is just really buggy. It kept freezing, pages took ages to load, and the search felt messy. The filters didn’t seem to narrow things down properly, and then checkout crashed on me twice. In the end I gave up and just used the website instead.

To be fair, the order turned out fine in the end, so I can’t really complain about the final result. But the communication was frustrating. I didn’t get clear updates, and when I reached out to support, it took a long time to hear back. I ended up having to keep checking on things myself, which wasn’t ideal
"Pickup was fine, but the late notice made me a bit wary"
I ordered something on Empik and chose the pickup point near my work. The package was ready the next day and the staff found it quickly, so the actual pickup went smoothly. The only thing that bothered me was that the notification came later than I expected. It wasn’t a huge issue this time, but it did make me a little less confident that I can rely on the updates next time.

"Payment options felt more confusing than they should"
I was ready to place my order, but the payment part kind of slowed me down. To me, the options felt a bit limited and not very clearly organized, so I spent more time than expected just trying to figure out what would work. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it definitely made the checkout experience feel more annoying than it needed to be.

My order came in this flimsy little box with barely any padding and, the corners were all smashed. One of the books even had a bent cover, which really annoyed me because I was excited to get them, anyway, it just looked like someone tossed everything in the box and hoped it would survive.

My order did show up in the end, so at least there’s that, but the tracking on empik.com had me feeling kind of left in the dark. For days there were no updates at all, and I kept checking like I was the one supposed to figure out where the package was. Then suddenly it showed the parcel was already close to delivery. It wasn’t a disaster, but the tracking really didn’t feel reliable. I just wish it had been more accurate

"Canceling my order turned into a hassle"
I tried to cancel an order on Empik, it felt like they made it more complicated than it needed to be. There wasn’t much clear information, the response took way too long, and I was still charged for a while after that. Maybe it was just handled badly, but it was a frustrating experience. I don’t think I’ll be ordering again
